Until further notice
After careful consideration and consultation with our experts and family, The Marriage Pros has decided we will only consider performing our Signature Elopement, with masks, gloves, social distancing and only with the couple to be married and their witnesses allowed. We will not be walking in or through businesses, homes or other enclosed spaces. Back yards may still be an option. We realize this may not work for you. We have already lost one family member, so this choice is very personal to us. We will remove this post if or when our decisions have changed.
Rev. Nicole and The Marriage Pros want to wish everyone all the best on your wedding day, no matter which Officiant you choose.
Rev. Nicole and The Marriage Pros has always welcomed all couples! We've had the pleasure of performing wedding ceremonies for couples across the globe and with all walks of life. We would be honored to be a small part in the celebration of your love. The Marriage Pros in Des Moines and surrounding areas, Rev. Nicole, Officiant has always been LGBTQ friendly. We have also had the pleasure of performing wedding ceremonies for many couples across the world.
You may get your marriage license application from any of Iowa's County Recorder's websites. You may get married in any Iowa county, even if you received your application from another Iowa County. Iowa has a 3 day waiting period and requires 2 witnesses 18 years of age or older. If you need to wave your 3 day wait, or if you want to find out the status of your license both before and after your ceremony, you would need to contact the recorder's office where you applied (even if you got married in another county). If you have any questions regarding your marriage license, please contact any Iowa County Recorder by phone or visit their website.
